Mercy Orphan
Sponsor a child that lives with us full time because they have no one who can take of them and keep them on the right track.
Your sponsorship gives a child a safe place to sleep, a full belly, and the chance to receive an education. At the Mercy Centre, it costs 178,000 THB (approx. $5,000 USD) per year to provide full care for one child in our orphanage. This sponsor a child support covers everything needed to live, learn, and thrive:
Community Child
Sponsor a child who has been identified, by our social work team, as being at risk the most in the slum communities we support.
We have many families in our communities that struggle to pay the cost of their child’s education in government schools. These schools have no tuition, but families must still pay for items such as books, uniforms, school supplies, etc. This program helps ensure these families can keep their children in school and learning.

- 38.5% of children are not in education or childcare
In Bangkok, over 54,000 children are not enrolled in early childhood education. This is significantly higher than in rural areas because the cost of living in the city and high population density make “free” schooling inaccessible for slum families. - 4.2% of uneducated people live in poverty
It drops to 3% If they complete school. Kindergarten attendance increases the chances of escaping poverty by nearly 500%. If not given help to get a routine, feel proud and learn, children are more likely to fall into a life of neglect, abuse and other forms of exploitation.

When you sponsor a child, your donation provides:

Education: Tuition, school supplies, and all the essential support to help each child reach their full potential.
Enrichment Activities: Sports, play, and creative experiences that inspire confidence, joy, and personal growth. You don’t need to cover the full annual cost — every contribution, big or small, truly makes a difference.

Sponsorship: 4 Levels
At Mercy Centre, we currently support over 250 children from primary school through vocational college and university. But education is only one part of what your sponsorship provides. Your support also helps us nurture essential life skills — from confidence, resilience, and communication to practical skills that prepare them for the real world. We guide each child not just to succeed in school, but to grow into capable, independent, and empowered young adults. One sponsorship can change a life — in and beyond the classroom.
