It is with great gratitude that I express my heartfelt thanks to MC Bangkok, MC USA, MC Australia, MC UK and the Mercy Menorca Board of Directors on behalf of all the Mercy staff members for the kind support provided to make the recent staff outing a reality. It was held over two days (18-19 January) at the Ananta Kanchanaburi Resort, the event was an incredible success. I am delighted to share some key highlights, photos, and feedback from this memorable occasion.

We conducted a post-event survey, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many staff members expressed their sincere appreciation, highlighting that this was a unique opportunity they would not have been able to experience otherwise.

Team Bonding: To encourage interaction, staff from different departments were mixed across the three buses en route to the resort. This set the tone for our opening meet-and-greet session, where each participant introduced themselves, their role, and tenure at Mercy. This engaging activity fostered meaningful connections and took over an hour—a testament to its success.
Engagement and Inclusion: Even those who couldn’t attend due to work duties were included in the celebrations. Fr. Joe’s credit card points enabled us to procure exciting raffle prizes such as refrigerators, TVs, and small appliances, alongside cash gifts for all staff, ensuring everyone felt valued.
Lasting Impact: 

Many staff shared that this outing was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They expressed a strong desire for it to become an annual tradition, emphasizing its importance for morale and team building.
