When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are… Thanks to the generosity of K. Brian Marca and Tero Entertainment, the Mercy Centre was able to bring over 100 kids to see the amazing show of Disney on Ice in Muang Tong Thani! The group of children comprised Mercy kids as well as local kids from the community sponsored through Mercy. Through the stops and starts of a finicky bus and the vagaries of Bangkok traffic, we arrived safe and sound at the Impact venue. The excitement built as the Mercy group entered in advance to the VIP section of seats --- and then the show began! 

With leaps, swirls, flips, and tricks, the performers embodied their characters in a swirl of snow and ice, telling stories ranging from Beauty & the Beast to Moana and Frozen. Spotlights whorled across vibrant costumes, skaters vaulted and twirled in high aerial ribbons, and a huge sound system projected the familiar tunes. The whole arena shouted and clapped for favorite characters such as Olaf, and spirits ran high. P’Nutt kept morale and energy high by handing out endless packets of butter bread. By the time we finally made it back to the Mercy Centre, everyone agreed on one thing: sanuk mak!
