New Boy - Aug. '09

Our newest boy, Tone, an 8-year-old orphan, arrived at Mercy just last week. For the past 2 years, Tone had been living with his Grandpa in a bamboo shack on the outskirts of a remote village in Nakorn Pathom Province. Grandpa loves Tone but can't take care of him or send him to school. So he asked for help, and found us. Tone already misses Grandpa, and he will visit him and his auntie on school breaks. For now, and for as long as he is at Mercy Centre, we promise to love and care for Tone and to give him every chance to be a child, make friends, play hard, and go to school.
